Classic Ceiling White

Tartan Paints Classic Ceiling White is a premium quality, easy to apply, environmentally friendly paint. Ideal for use on interior ceilings. Available in an extensive range of colours.

Coverage:
Up to 16m2 per litre. Coverage will be lower on rough or absorbent surfaces.

Tartan Paints are a healthier choice for the environment, for painters and for you.  Components such as our Advanced Natural Microbiological Control, sustainably sourced additives, and Ultra Low VOC formulas (as low as 1gram per litre) provides a refined toughness and a True Colour paint film.

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all surface contamination. Treat mould with bleach then rinse with fresh water. Fill in surface defects with suitable filler, putty or sealant.

New work:
Paper Faced Plasterboard, Fibre Cement, Masonry & Timber - First apply one coat of Tartan Classic Undercoat/Sealer

Apply two coats by roller or brush. Paint the corners and edges with a narrow brush and roll up to the edges. Stir paint in a circular motion for 5 minutes before use.

• Drying time: 30 minutes (touch dry)
• Recoat: 2 hours at 25C (allow 4 hours in cold or humid areas)
• Do not paint at temperatures below 10C

Avoid exposure to steam for 72 hours. Surface may be washed after 10 days but always avoid abrasive cleaners.

Ensure adequate ventilation, keep floors and furniture covered. Keep the lid on containers when not in use.

Do not pour leftover paint down the drain. Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper, allowed to dry and then disposed of via domestic waste collections. Empty paint containers should be left open in a well ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle steel or plastic containers via domestic recycling programs (may differ between local authorities. Check with your local council first).
